Scholarship Funding for NPQs
The DfE have changed the scholarship criteria for the Autumn 2024 cohort. Whilst all NPQs were previously funded, from the Autumn, scholarships are available to all teachers and leaders from state-funded schools and settings for the following NPQs:
- NPQ Headship
- Early Headship Coaching Offer (EHCO)
- NPQ Leading Primary Mathematics
- NPQ SENCO
Scholarships are also available for all NPQs for teachers and leaders working in the “top 50% of schools as defined by the proportion of students that attract pupil premium funding”. Comparative disadvantage criteria will also be applied to both Further Education and Early Years settings.
The DfE are committed to providing 10,000 scholarships nationally for programmes. As there are a finite number available and demand is likely to be greater than availability, if your school is eligible for funded places, we recommend you complete an expression of interest now and apply as early as possible to ensure you are successful in obtaining a place.
Unfortunately, charges will apply for applicants who are either not eligible for scholarships or who miss out on funding available.
For the Autumn 2024 cohort, the fees for NPQ programmes are as follows:
